“Although I do not live in Congo since the age of eight and chimpanzees haven’t been around for so long, Kay Bojesen’s wooden monkey let me nostalgic with my childhood, marked by freedom and the local lush nature. One of the things I like to do is sitting at my studio desk with my Alberto glasses on, surrounded with the pictures my parents took in Congo and relive some of the best moments of my life, as the trip we made through the rainforest, following in the footsteps of the adventurers Stanley and Livingstone”.
